Hi there basically last few days iv started noticing the engine is moving alot or feels like its moving alot when i start the car. Seems fine once its started its just on that start up i cant remember it being like this the other week... anybody know??

Worn engine mount? You tried opening the bonnet and rocking the engine back and forth with it turned off?

Not yet buddy its annoying was fine the other week... not sure if its where iv fitted some uprsted console bushes but im sure that wudnt change anything

I can't really see console bushes being related to excess engine movement, as they're independent systems.

 

I'd start with having a play with your engine and see if you can pinpoint the problem and then go from there. After that I'd say get it up on a ramp and having a nosey for worn bushes / mountings etc...

 

Have you noticed it being any jerkier than normal when you're initially pulling off or between gear changes?
