I think I am going mad, does the passenger window auto close on a full press of the switch from the drivers door, just like the drivers window does? I am sure mine did the other day, but now it seems not to want to play?

But sometimes no.

It also makes a clunking noise when it gets to the fully open position now, my drivers side don't, think its falling apart :( which is not good as its only coming up to 4months old.

Could be a faulty switch. The switch on my old RS was prone to misbehaving, and my Mums Fabia did the same... switch eventually needed replacing.

Isn't it something to do with the BUS architecture for the controls? IIRC, heat, damp, etc. (or a dodgy switch) can all muck up the voltages for each of the connections, so some pretty funny things can happen. Up=down was one that someone mentioned, I think.

Apparently turning the ignition off and leaving it for a minute or two will probably fix it (giving time for the ECU to reset). Otherwise you could try disconnecting the battery overnight or something, but that'll do things to the alarm...

Take it back to the dealer if it starts to bug you...

UPDATE its working fine again, I will have to keep my eye on it, maybe it just don't like the 30degree heat?
