LCR/TT front end for octy mk1 (feeler)

Featured Replies

Right guys I've got a LCR front subframe and also (maybe) a set of hubs that I don't need!

I'm definitely going to sell them,I just need to know if its worth me refurbishing all the parts before I sell them?

The subframe will cost me about £30-40 to blast and powdercoat...plus the bushes!

So looking at £120 for the subframe...maybe a bit more depending on which bushes you want in it?

The hubs will get acid dipped, powdercoated, new abs sensors, new wheel bearings and be fully re-assembled!

So looking for £250+ depending how much the wheel bearings cost! That price allows upto £80ea for top notch wheel bearings!

Now,there's a fair bit of work that goes into things like this,so on the surface it may seem like a lot of money.

This is however a feeler to see if anyone would be interested at those prices?

After all,I don't want to pump money into these parts just to see them sitting in my lounge for 6 months!

Otherwise you could buy the parts "as is" for £80 and mess around with them yourselves!

Any comments or opinions welcome (keep it clean)

Cheers

Mark
