(So named by SWMBO because the reg ends in "KP")

Just took delivery yesterday afternoon with 6 miles on the clock from Azur Skoda. Ordered the first week of June and built in week 36.

It's a 2.0 TDI DSG with Elegance trim in Steel Grey.

Optional extras - Bi Xenon lights, KESSY, heated front seats, park assist, spare wheel, three-spoke wheel and adaptive cruise control.

Thoughts with 100 miles under my belt:

- we made the right decision and it's been totally worth the wait.

- so happy we got steel grey. I think it's such a classy Colour and really shows off the car's lines

- drove back through country A & B roads last night and the Bi-Xenons with AFS are FANTASTIC.

- played with park assist today. Worked very well. Wife loves it. I'm just a big fan of the all around parking sensors!

- adaptive cruise control is a revelation and after the initial period of getting to trust it, I can see it being used a LOT. Took me from 80MPH to a complete stop and back up again. I think medium is a bit too close for comfort but long is ideal. One thing, bringing it back up to speed from slow takes a little bit with Eco set. Not bad at all on the other modes.

- KESSY is certainly a nice to have feature but not essential. I'm coming out of 3 company cars, all with push button start stop and I thought I would really miss it. Really glad I got this too as I hate my keys rattling about stuck into the ignition! Responds perfectly and I actually like being able to just touch the door to lock and unlock it.

- tree spoke wheel. Again, not necessary but I thought it looked better and I'm happy with it.

- I'm told, with no uncertainty by SWMBO, that the heated seats work incredibly well and go all up your back too.

In terms of the normal bits of the car:

- it just feels quality. No rattles to notice yet

- Elegance spec is REALLY well equipped.

- performance is impressive

- feet changes are smooth like butter

Cons -

- front cupholders are a bit small. I have a normal sized naglene type water bottle that doesn't fit.

- I wish I had added full leather, Columbus and Canton. Not so much a con as a "I wish I had more money to..."

- phone contact pictures not syncing across

I'm sure I will find more things both positive an negative as I drive it but these are just my initial observations.

I'll add more to this thread as we move along. A word to everyone else waiting. It may seem like ages but it's totally worth it!!

Also - if you want a picture of something specific, just let me know.

Ha!! I didn't even think that!

Thanks :-)

I was emailing my boss earlier and he thought it was a BMW from that angle.
