Just wanted to ask if those of you who have bought an elegance spec and who ordered at beginning of August have got the mobile phone holder thing that sits in the centre console cup area?

Is this standard spec or an extra?

Mine's an SE, and bought from UK stock in September, but it came with the mobile 'phone holder in one of the central cup-holders.

Me too. useless too small to fitt anything other than iphone. but i have a Brodit phone holder on my dash. works perfectly and puts the phone up high.

I got one also, but again useless as my mobile in a leather case is too big.

I got one -it's been in a drawer somewhere ever since I brought the car home along with the one that we got with our Citigo.

Got one, brilliant for the iPhone, just pop it in to it when i get in the car and plug the car charger into it :-)

Think you're supposed to put your Ipod in there to play music etc and the "ashtray" bit in front of the gear stick is where to stick your phone as some models have a GSM booster in there.

Or at least that is what I was told by the training folk!

That's exactly as I read it - the Box under the sliding cover in front of the gear stick is lined to hold the phone and boost the signal strength by 20% . I use the "media holder" to store the cigarette lighter when I plug in my speed camera warning device !

With regards my phone, I have it in a pouch on my belt and it works fine there, the Bluetooth connection operating automatically without any problems so far - if I find signal strength reduced I'll just pop it in the booster box.
