Those in the know, help me out please.

Many years ago, when Skoda released the Fabia and Octavia vRS models, the story goes that Ford didn't like the idea of an RS designated model and Skoda/VW/Audi whoever bowed to pressure and stuck a conspicuous 'v' infront. If that be similar to the truth, I have had an email form Autoexpress with an article on the Seat Leon ST. Anyone heard of mumblings form other manufacturers about this cars label?

On a personal note, I like calling my car a "vRS"  :giggle:

It's got a v only in the UK. Something to do with Ford having the rights over rs.

I watched a "new" Top Gear on Dave last night. There was a blue "RS" Jag with green and red squares behind it which reminded me of the Skoda vRS badge TBH

Makes me wonder what other cars are designated 'RS' available in the UK?
