Oil change?

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I picked up my new Fabia 1.2 TSi Elegance a month ago.

Since last week every time I start the car, I get the message "Oil change now!" on the Maxidot.

Can this be right? I've only done 350 miles in that time.

I've checked the oil level and it's fine.

Any ideas?

Contact Skoda dealer asap and seek advice at least to avoid warranty issues and maybe something more serious.

Thanks xman

May just need re setting but best to be safe and don't delay in contacting Skoda dealer. How are you liking the new car?

Hi horkin,

Thanks for the advice, I'll check in with the dealer ASAP.

Loving the Fabia! Really appreciate the extra grunt of the 1.2 TSi.

I've been used to fast cars in my time, so maybe the Citigo was a step back.

Nothing wrong with the Citigo, a fine car as I've said before.

The Fabia is more practical for me, and my Mum who can get in more easily.

regards

Adrian
