anyone else having this problem? all the other gears can be selected with no problems.

model in question is a citigo elegance greentech 75bhp.

would it be worth while dropping it off to my dealer?

Sometimes when it's really cold. It helps if I let go of the brake.

Im getting this problem from time to time.
Also hard to get into reverse.

I occasionally get this.  If it happens, go to neutral, lift clutch, depress clutch and then it should go in fine.

Me too, 1st and reverse are sometimes difficult! I too have a 75ps elegance green tech.

yea seems to be all the time, weather its cold or warm.

Try 2nd or any other gear, than back to 1st. if it reverse try 1st then back to reverse. Make sure depress clutch pedal fully.
