So noticed the underside of the bonnet on my vrs has no sound proofing, is this correct ? If so just seams a little cheap !

If it's a petrol then it is correct and more of a case of if it doesn't need it there's no point in it being there.

It should be there though as it makes it look better, it also helps the engine to warm up quicker which aids emissions and economy.

There was another thread about this recently, conclusion was that no noticeable benefit on petrol but does help diesel with warming up times.
