Hi guys.

Picked my new Octavia vrs from garytc78. Coming over from the seat side of life.

Had a great drive back from the Liverpool to leicester today can't believe how smooth the CR lump is compared to my old PD.

Welcome to the forum. As you say the CR engine is a lot smoother than the PD though some prefer the PDs low end grunt. Personally I think the CR suits the octy very well eating the miles on a trip like yours but able to deliver some fun when required. Enjoy....

Yeah the pd did have a mountain of torque at 2000rpm. Which I will miss.
