I'm looking for recommended online tyre retailers that you would recommend & maybe this thread can be turned into a review & reference point?

I've tried camskill and unfortunately they don't stock the tyres I want (preferably Continental WinterContact TS 850) so am looking elsewhere, but need recommendations for an online retailer.

I've just used www.tyre-universe.co.uk for the first time. I needed a replacement michelin pilot sport 3 after the bird set off and drove the car to work with a flat tyre, totally destroying the inside of it :(.

 

I tried all the usual places but these guys seem very good on price. I got one in Fabia size for £86.15 delivered. £20 to £30 cheaper than everywhere else I looked.

 

Worth a try.

I've always used camskill but lately they seem to have poor availability on the tyres I want.So Ordered from love tyres and received an email saying order cancelled as out of stock lol! Yesterday ordered again from Oponeo tyres and so far all looks good! Price was exellnt too!

Oponeo seem to sell winter tyres at very good prices and have a wide choice of tyres.

You could consider Nankang sv winters as they are very reasonably priced and work perfectly in winter conditions.

Used Camskill, mytyres and oponeo for purchasing winter tyres and been pleased with the all three.

 

Would say however the steel rims we bought a few years back from mytyres as part of a winter wheel package where not up to the quality of the VAG product; started rusting a lot quicker.
