  • Maybe it does a prewash followed by the main wash....maybe the Mk IV will have a spin cycle too?

  • Ours is in for the day tomorrow as they've suggested the bumper and/or washer unit may be misaligned. When you look at the washer, it does indeed appear to be a little pi$$ed. Near side looks bang on.

  • This picture shows the locating pin in the top right corner...

You do know they don't wash the lights every time don't you?

LadyV - did you have your lights on? You do know the washers only work when the lights are on (and someone's home!)? :-)

Ours went in on Monday to have a few issued sorted, one of which was a sticky N/S headlight washer.

They adjusted the washer unit and since then it hasn't stuck once. The washers have been used at least 5 or 6 times so far.

Mine was fine since last week (56k km on the clock).

This issue started on the left side and a few days later on the right.

Left side is closing by a soft touch but right side needs some force.

Dealer will sort it (hopefully).

VRS particularly early ones were known for misaligned washers....happened to most early builds but easily resolved under warranty.
