To all of you who have been lucky enough to have taken delivery of your new octavia, how long did it take from it's confirmed build week to get to the dealer?

I'm waiting for delivery of mine. Assuming 2-4 weeks it would be 9-11 weeks from order to delivery, although it's starting to sound like these timescales are going out of the window with delays and backlogs.

To all of you who have been lucky enough to have taken delivery of your new octavia, how long did it take from it's confirmed build week to get to the dealer?

 

I may have set a record here, production week 39, delivery yesterday!

The order was placed june 6th so I had to wait a while, but with 4x4 that was expected.

Ordered on the 26 July, collected yesterday, so 11 weeks from order to delivery, felt a lot longer though. And now I have it was definitely worth the wait

Build week 37, arrived at dealers on the 1st October, picked it up on the 6th October.

Ordered on the 24th July so just under 11 weeks to delivery. Btw, I also have ACC (which I am really liking), don't think I'd get the same spec so quickly now though :(

Still not had any phone calls or updates Shane. The times above would suggest this week, but I'm guessing it will be next week as getting stuff to N.Ireland always seems to be an issue. Plus dealer is fitting a tow bar on mine which I'm sure will take an extra day or 2

I ordered mine on 29th July and have been told to expect it sometime in Jan 2014! 

Ordered on 3rd July. Build Week 39. Received confirmation today that car is on ship... expected to take ownership by end of next week. So looking at 16-17 weeks total.

Ordered 20th July built week 40 collect from dealer end of this week. 12 weeks 6 days all in. Dealer promised me 9 weeks all in when I ordered so got some compo for the added delay lol

built 2nd or 3rd September (week 36)

Delivered to Dealer 13/9/13  (end week 37)

Picked up Week 39.  Could have got it week 38 but I was on holiday

First time poster but thought I'd let you know my order history. Elegance Estate ordered 4th July. Build week 41, so last week and was contacted yesterday by the dealer

who said I could pick it up on Friday 18th (week 42). Not too bad I think especially as I specced the pano roof!

 

Can't wait

P.S. I work (and live) in Germany making use of tax free prices for cars and Canterbury is the nearest garage who deal with tax free sales!

Just off the phone to skoda uk AGAIN ,

Apparently it just arrived in port in the uk TODAY

And more shockingly was told it can take 2-3 weeks after to arrive at the dealers

Dealer just called, he expects to have it ready for delivery next week
