Grey / White Smoke on light throttle

Featured Replies

Hi all,

After the track day at castle comb the car developed a bad smoke problem on light throttle. After abit of head scratching I dropped the car off to get it looked over and it seems the exhaust housing was leaking :(

I presume this has been the case for a while and the track day quickened up the process of making it noticable. Not sure as yet, why it was leaking, possibly a blockage in the system ?

Just posting this for future reference for others as a thing to check.

Where is the actual leak ?

DB

This probably explains my light grey smoke on partial throttle, and then my exhaust manifold letting go at Oulton Park.....
