What are VCDS?

Featured Replies

I notice VCDS mentioned in various posts. What are they please and what do they cover?

I believe stands for Vag Com Diagnostics System.

Is a laptop/cable based program made by Ross-Tech and sells for circa £250-£270 depending on the £:$ rate.

I have it in Exmouth, and it comes in very useful for diagnostics / logging boost / altering coding.

They are very nasty, that's why you should always use protection, and without the correct cream/antibiotics they can end up covering everything.

Perhaps seek a medical specialist  then assess your lifestyle choices

Where do you get one of these? What cables etc are actually required?

Look at the Ross tech website, it has all the info and a list of UK suppliers ,- don't be tempted by cheap cables on eBay which be the all singing versions, they are fake.
