Cornering headlights on vRS

Featured Replies

Just had car in Sports mode as I turned the corner noticed the headlights turned with steering wheel.

Did anyone else know they had cornering headlights?

Was a nice surprise :)

Yep, it's in the manual. :)

They work in normal and sport but more aggressively in sport. They even do a little dance when they switch on :)

Its called AFS - Adaptive Front-lighting System

Yeah i love the little dance they do haha could watch it all night, and i presumed the up/down of the dance was to check the self level, just wasn't sure why it went side to side but now presume thats testing cornering.

Also in the brochure..........

Also in the brochure..........

What was?

Ordered car before brochure was released only had the little one from goodwood may be the reason.

It has been in the main brochure since it came out in March. In the front it describes the Xenon lights and their capabilities. No need for the vRS one, or the later inclusive one.

But it makes no mention of the cornering function.
