Hot clutch kinda smell?

Featured Replies

Hi all,

After a quick journey I get a hot clutch/rubber smell? Anyone know what to check.. Seem to be only after a short journey, i dont drive like a nob either, this is a gentle 5 min drive?? Any ideas?

Cheers

Partially seized clutch release bearing? Seized brake or brakes? Tried locating the smell after the drive?

Without sounding like a numpty ...... Are the brakes roasting hot ??

Jus a thought ... One caliper binding??

Does the clutch feel ok under foot ?? No juddering or slipping at all ??
