Mk2 Fabia vRS Decat downpipe

Featured Replies

Right guys.  I have the original OEM downpipe in my garage which was opened up and De-Catted by Shark Performance.  The only way for someone to tell the exhaust is de-catted would be to physically take it off and look at it, it also retains stock noise levels.  The ultimate in stealth power IMO.

I want rid of it since i know longer own a car that this will fit.

This exhaust combined with a good remap will see 210-215Hp and 250lbft.  Im after £115 incl postage and packaging.  So potentially stock to stage 2 for less than £500!!

For those interested in the gains.

This is the before/after curves for my car

does it trigger ecu light?

The car would need mapping to see the benefit and the map would deal with the ECU light.

Believe Sy saw the same gains from this as a full turbo back exhaust system with race cat at Stage 2. I'm sure he can confirm.

petrol car with kat taken out would trigger the ecu light

You Are correct. Without software the emissions light will Flash up. Hence why I said stage 2 in the OP. No lights with software

100% Correct, believe it would also do this with a complete replacement downpipe with 100/200 cell race cat.

....until remapped, otherwise all stage 2 cars would have an ECU light on.
