new headlamp unit

Featured Replies

I have just discovered, whilst attempting to up rate the bulbs, that some previous plonker has broken head headlamp retaining screw off - so no white plastic nut! It seems the headlamp is held in by friction fit only!

Is there a replacement parts price list anywhere, or can anyone give me an idea please?

Worst case:  ebay.

There were a few brand new for c.£50 a month or two back.  You don't say what model or if you have LH or RH dip.

thanks for your reply, my car is RHD, but I don't think that matters as theew is a switch on the unit (I believe). I have just checked the other one and the slide switch to release the lamp is stuck / broken. Obviously been a cack handed mechanic somewhere in its life!

since I altered to original xenon I just sold my set of non xenon headlights for 100€.

I have had a look on Ebay.co.uk   If I bought the 2nd hand Xenon headlamps would they just be a direct swop for my non xenons?
