Drove my dream car

Featured Replies

Many of you have played in exotica but I never have so it was a big thrill for me :D

Porsche 911 3.6 4S

Friend just chucked me his keys and told me to drive as he was knackered.

Absolutely stunning.Exterior looked amazing.Best quad exhaust pipes I have seen.Hard to explain but looked like they sort of linked.Sure he said it was 4 wheel drive too

Interior even better..Stitched leather suede roof lining gorgeous seats, sat nav, tiptronic (didn't use it as I was concentrating to much!).Whole car felt solid as a rock.

Engine .OMG it sounds amazing. What would I do for that engine note.Couldn't really floor it but it was fun for a couple of hours.

So I ask myself. He has a car that will hardly depreciate, costs nothing to service (believe it or not!) and he rarely,if ever needs bits for it.He will offload it in two years and have another.

By my calculations it has probably been more expensive (bar the initial outlay ;) )to run my second hand skoda    Shall we all buy porsche?

Finally, believe it or not,I wasn't disappointed performance wise when I got back in mine. Was expecting it to feel like a slug.Probably because I couldn't make the most of the porker.

To end this I would just like to say to the man in the spanking new Aston Martin DB9 in black (pulled on to the cricket ground) ...You ruined my perfect day in my perfect car. That DB9 is just out of this world. Can I have a spin mate? :D

I do believe Stuart recently got a go in one of those DB9s.

Never had the chance to drive any dream car myself. :(

Yep, Guy I had only met that week on the Cannonball gave me his keys the day after the final party so I could take my son for a spin in a 2 week old DB9. Again Stunning car & the exhaust note was to die for

re 911's, In my opinion the most practicle & reliable super car you can get, weve had loads on the Cannonballs & the only failures have been ones that have fallen off the road, the even more re assuring thing is that some were fairly old examples & yet were completely reliable. At Imola a guy spent well over an hour thrashing a stock 911 around the circuit & yet in behaved impecably, no brake fade & just carried on the next day as though nothing had happened. The only down side is that there are a lot around but that must be a vote for the quality of the car

2 months ago i drove my wife`s cousins Porche 911 S4. It was the total nuts. I only wish i could have one. I couldn`t believe the power and how easy it was to drive.

So if i left my misses and sold the house i could buy one, now that`s a thought. :P

"You can live in a car, You can't drive a house!"

I was very fortunate to have driven (round the car park in Calais mind !) a Lambo Murcielago that has just finished up the Gumball...

Great guy - I was pooring over his car and after a quick chat the guy offered me his keys for a quick spin :D:D:D Couldn't believe my luck !

WOW - if only I had a wife and a house.....

i would be afraid to drive my dream car in case it didnt live up to what i hope it will be

Thats what happened to me. I loved the look of the Ferrari F355, the exterior and interior are just , but when I drove it, I hated it. Yeah it sounds good and goes but it just doesnt feel right, the steering wasn't precise, the gearbox was heavy. I'm just so glad I didn't save for ages to get one and then not like it.
