well after much internet searching, i used auto glym engine and machine cleaner, with a smalll and large paint brush, cling film and a pressure washer turned down. I want to replace my cam cover with a powder coated one. then i want a wrinkle effect inlet manifold.

any other ideas to clean up the bay?

Change the expansion bottle !!!

That one has seen better days

Nice job buddy looks like it "jus stepped out of a salon" top marks buddy :)

Great effort

That autoglym machine clean  is good stuff

I also find astonish de greaser very good and you can get it in the pound shop.

I current bay and i am into the black wrinkle effect too. Still thinking about doing the inlet too, but like the balance at the moment

i like this engine bay where did you get the silicone pipes?

how long did it take to hide the injector loom and the hard water pipe?

cheers

Where did you get the wrinkle paint from? looks great is it just an aerosol or dipped?

you can buy it on ebay,  VHT wrinkle plus. I am going to do my intake and have a red powder coated cam cover and black coilpack holders. God i wish i hadn't started cleaning the bay.... this is going to get expensive. lol

Cheers for that definitely on my to do list

Hi , Silicon pipes are a mix of Forge, Autobahn88 and SFS

All these places can provide full kit's or single pipes.

SFS seem to be the top please these days.

not cheap though for the whole lot.

The Injector tuck was a PITA as you need to extend the loom to injectors to make the wires fit underneath.

Here is my techi guide from tech section that will help you in interested
