Hi guys know the topic has been covered a lot but need some help advice or anything that's going nd rear door is deadlocked got the seats out door card off mechanism is not working at all how do I get this door open have been trying all day 8 hours and have now com to the conclusion might have to start cutting or taking a rather large hammer and chisel to the catch anybody have any ideas please

Also thought I should mention that my uncle ripped the wires out out the mechanism so. Don't think I can do the 12v battery trick this is why I'm stumped :(

the only option is to try to knock the catch open that is latched around teh door pin. You have to get that catch knocked up to free door. Many people have ended up smashing open the mechanism to get to the latch bit.

Right lol thought it would come down to having to beat the mechanism off or the latch at least that's confirmed now thank you :-)

Try and break some of the plastics off the catch. There are gears inside, once exposed you should be able to move them with a screwdriver.

Finish work in a minute Going to have a go at breaking the plastics then first then go hammer and tong at it hopefully have it apart before the night sets in want to get this on the road ;)
