Sourcing a used Yeti

Featured Replies

I'm looking to trade in my Ford Fusion after Christmas for a Yeti. My question is are Skoda dealers willing to source stock from other dealers on my behalf? It's difficult when I'm not 100% sure what my trade in value would be, which would vary on the dealer and the car I'm buying? I wouldn't want to traipse round the country looking only to find that the dealer couldn't give me enough for my Fusion, and therefore I couldn't afford the car I was looking at?

Any ideas?

Thanks

Neil

Hi Neil. You could always try to sell your ford privately in local paper or auto trader first? Thats what im doing with my yeti next

february before I head to allams for my facelift outdoor in jungle green! Its worth a try . I tried we buy anycar last year when I was selling my van and they werent far off what my dealer gave me in the end. Had my van in local free ad paper and3 days after I

traded it in a guy called desperate to buy it. So my advice would be to advertise it it a.s.a.p and not last minute like me as it cost

me !

Have a look on the Skoda website at the used car section. If you see one that ticks your boxes, give the dealer a call and try to beat out a deal over the phone / email. We've bought our last couple of cars this way and both went off without a hitch (and the added benefit of a day out / roadtrip). You can usually agree a deal with them so long as you're fully open about any particular chips / dents / scratches then it should all go smoothly.

Great choice - same as me.

PS: have not come across anyone who has yet to order the City/Urban version......could it be a white elephant?
