Now after a diesel

Featured Replies

I was originally looking for the petrol vRS but with all the engine failures popping up everywhere it has put me right off.

Been looking at this http://www.skoda.net.r66.co.uk/carview.aspx?id=604056564

Does this seem like a good buy and is there any problems with the CR diesel vRS and what should i look out for when buying?

Do these need the DPF filter removed or is that only on the old PD engines?

Have people had them remapped and what sort if figures are everyone getting on a standard car?

2012 model for me, getting 44mpg. Mainly commuting to Leeds so not exactly a good run.

Plus MPG is not the main factor when buying a VRS!

Check out fuelly.com good search option to find real world MPG figures for most cars out there.

I would be a little concerned at the low mileage what with it being a diesel but i guess you dont know for sure if its been all short runs or not? Also seems a bit expensive for its age unless youre getting a decent warranty (check the small print)

Mines going in on a PX soon, 12 plate, CR DSG and loads of options!
