I'm on Wanadoo and I can split mine to 2 computers. I have a third-party router/modem that splits it to my PC (about 20 cms away from router) to my stepdads (17m downstairs), no problems whatsoever.

Sounds like you got a bargain, i had to buy a dead powerful router though because i live in an old farmhouse with foot thick walls :P

I've had no problems with Wanadoo, they supply me with broadband, I pay my money, that's all. Then again, I had no problems with Tiscali on dialup either to be honest.

AOL though, make sure you cancel your direct debit with them else they will continue to bill you. I'm sure you've heard all the horror stories.
