Mk2 VRS tfsi Clutch?

Featured Replies

I think my clutch is on its way out!

Symptoms are just High bite point at the minute but getting the feeling im losing some initial power as the clutch is slipping its not audible just the feeling i get revs seem to climb quicker than they used to etc. Now i was going to get a shark remap but im guessing this will goose the clutch even quicker. So the question: Is there a way to definatively tell the clutch has gone can it be adjusted to bring the bite point lower.

If i have got to replace it i always like to buy upgraded parts makes it seam less of a chore an more worth while so can anyone recomend an aftermarket clutch kit thats better than OEM and will deal with the sharp stage 1 / 2 remap. Car is 2005 and original clutch.

There is no manual adjustment on the clutch unfortunately. Are you local to us? We could take a look at it and give an opinion for you, we also offer mechanical services if you needed a quote for the clutch also.
