Rear head rests

Featured Replies

Am I right that all three head rests are captive and can't be pulled right out of the seat top.

And am I right the centre headrest only rises about one inch from the seat before it is blocked .

What's yours like?   Thanks

Not tried it yet. If they're anything like my old Mk1 Fabia you pull them out as you're putting the seat back down to expand the loading bay, it's not an uncommon thing.

Rapid 1.6 SE  the headrests don't remove in mine either  lift about 2 inches then stop, no centre headrest in mine nor can I saa anywhere one would fit.  Are they held on to the back of the backrest or is it a different middle section they put in?

Thank you.  My two outer ones rise about 5 inches then stop. The blockage is only on one leg as it were.

The centre one has the same black plastic rings on the top of the seat back  and the release catch type thing on one but only rises about 1 inch before it is blocked on one leg only like the other two.

Perhaps it is for the sake of rear view out the window.  Or summat.  Not very flexible for passengers that's for sure.

Has any car ever had so many strange awkward daft inexplicable odd things?

The centre headrest has much shorter rails because of the armrest and ski hatch, so it will not go up as much as the outer two, it's the same on the Octavia

Well there you go.  Weird  =Rapid.  I've got short legs but no ski flap or armrest.
