I had to clear & simplify my Laptop because of a Virus or Malware,  just to get it running till fixed properly.

 

Anyway, the point and a plea for help,

 

i have lost the Driver from the Laptop for Uploading my Pics. & can not find the Original disc that came with the camera.

Does anyway know of a way to get a Driver back on without the use of a Disc.

 

Or can i send you a Stamp Addressed Envelope and some Beer Tokens to borrow a Disc that will do the job.??

I assume it connects via USB, George? If running windows 7 just connect it. Windows will see the camera and seach and install the drivers itself. Alternativel, once connected click on My Computer and it may show up, if so you can import the saved images quite easily.

should be downloadable from the www.praktica.de website in the support section

Windows 7 but not connecting it, asking for the Disc & referring to the Manufacturer to get a download ,

not managed to find the 5000WP on the Praktica site, but will try later on a proper computer with speed.

 

I found a Disc for a gubbed Samsun Camera, one of many i have, (hence liking the Praktica that has lasted well while getting daily abuse.).

so got that Driver, put the Memory Card in that camera & got the pictures loaded.

 

I will pick up another cheapo camera later today.
