nice one- looks good. enjoy

Nice car there Doug - Enjoy it.

Congratulations to the new car out and enjoy the new car smell  :sun:

Congrats mate. Enjoy your new car :)

Looks great, just ordered mine, have gone for white with the DSG box, can't wait but won't get it till next year

Looks good, my wife has the 1.4 TSI engine in her Beetle, and I am surprised how refined and nice it is for a 'small' engine, its surprising how things have come on, even 10 years ago a 1.4 engine would be frowned upon power wise for a car the size of an Octavia, but I reckon that ones it run in it will be a peach, enjoy and happy motoring!

Congrats, looks nice pal, hope you enjoy it.

I get mine at 12 tomorrow, can't wait :-)

Thanks for all your good wishes. Can someone tell me if the petrol engine should have a black plastic cover over it? My previous diesel Skodas have but not sure if petrol ones are meant to have the same. Thanks in advance. Dougie.

I thought the same thing when I got my Mk3 back in June, but it appears they don't have one from the factory, you may also notice that the under bonnet insulation is also missing.

All "standard", apparently!! :wonder:

You picked the best colour ;) looks fab

Went on a 90 mile or so round trip today with a mixture of urban and A class roads. Returned 54.2 MPG. Amazed by this considering I doubt I would have got this from my old mk1 2.0 TDi Superb with 80K miles. This figure can only get better the more the engine loosens up.

Looks great, I love that clean look when the discs, calipers, hubs and inside surface of the alloys are factory fresh, shame it doesn't stay this way for longer!

How did you find Arnold Clark, never dealt with them myself but heard some horror stories.

It's still going to take me a while to get used to seeing Race Blue on a non-vRS Octavia!

That looks beautiful mate

Love that colour

I found AC very good to deal with. The salesman kept me in the loop during the order process. I hope their after sales is as good.... It was a no brainer for me choosing this colour. I really like it. I had seen a lot of mk2 VRS cars with this colour and was happy to be able to choose it.

Nice car - enjoy.

Hated the experience with AC I had when checking out a few dealer to purchase from - awfully pushy, wanted me to commit to the figures before test driving the car, didn't like at all.
