hello all just bought a 10 plate 170cr elegance had a fabia vrs before, love the superb even though ive only had it a week lol.

What made you change? It's a little different to the Fabia isn't it! :P 

just fancied a change and my fabia was nearly 10 years old. are youe the lad withe the v6 one. how you find it compared to what you had before 

Compared to the Octy rs it's a lot more planted, doesn't handle too badly. I get a little sea sick if pushing it on a hilly b road though! Think I'll need to look into lowering it a little bit. 

 

But compared to my Mk2 Fabia TDi its totally different. I had more attachment to my Bohemia - maybe because I had owned it for much longer.  

 

The elegance in the superb is amazing for kit, really chuffed with it. I test drove a 170tdi before the v6, but it was a little too pricey I guess it didn't help the 170 tdi I drove was brand new. I did tell the dealer at the time, I was looking for pre owned, and that I had spotted the v6 up north. 

 

Was really impressed with the 170 too, at the time I had never driven something so long!

Haha, It's supprised a couple of people. Mines a 10 plate like yours, have you posted any pics of yours yet? I'm 25, it did feel strange at first - my thoughts were this feels really posh for me...but I got over that

lol not posted any pics yet but will get some and probably start goin to some meets again. im 24 so the superbs appeal to the younger generation aswell lol. ive had some funny looks aswell. like is he driving his dads car lol.

I look forward to seeing some! Haha, yeah same here. I've got a few plans for the v6, glad to see some younger owners with the Super B! What colour did you get by the way? 

i got a light blue coloured one with black interior. love it cos mpg is so good for a big car seen 59mpg on maxidot when i picked it up

When I picked mine up, the tank range was 205 miles on a full tank... I think someone must have been thrashing it before I bought it! I get about 34 with mine, not too bad for a gas guzzler.

Congrat's to your new ride! I've also had mine for a week now, picked it up last Thursday ... Thought that the Superb Estate was for us 45+ and not young guys, glad to find out that I'm all wrong ... ;-)

I know the finish is weaker than normal (I suffer delamination on my Octavia Scout's polished Proteus alloys) but boy is it worth it!
