anyway to find your old car?

Featured Replies

Just wondering if there is anyway to find out where abouts in the county a certain car is? Just curious where my fabia has ended up since I traded it in. I'm sure my dad found a website a while back which give you information about when it was last taxed and where? He is getting old though and can't remember! Lol

It's a bit sad when you see your first car hasn't been taxed for a long time and has gone to the big scrapyard in the sky.

good find

my first 3x cars are all untaxed, so probably in a scrapyard

it is odd how you miss a car after it has gone

Well you never know, it may be tucked in storage for some years, then comes  to light in a Barn find a few years down the line.  Could it be a future classic?

My old Puma looks to have been SORN'd/scrapped :( Or the plate changed...

What does date of liability mean? And licence not due? Does that mean it's taxed?

Usually. Date of liability is when the tax will be or was due.

Licence not due means its taxed. You can also check askmid.com to see if its insured. Least if its insured theres a good chance its on the road :)

Good news, for me at least.

My Octavia vRS is still going strong.

That makes me feel better for trading it in. At least somebody is still using it and (hopefully) enjoying it.
