Badge/Emblem placement

Hi everyone so pictured is the rear of my recently purchased mk2 call me stupid but are all of the emblem/badge placements correct as per the manufacturers spec?

How do people normally go about upgrading moving them around as I’m going to try and pick up some of the newer style original badges and maybe spray them all black barring the insert of the front and rear badges which would be race blue.

I don’t want to risk using those crappy cheap copies from eBay as I have a friend that said they lasted no more than a month on his car 😬
