Hi all,

Got a 04 fab vr with the factory xenons fitted and iv noticed the sit quite low , so question is really how to adjust them as they havnt spelt adjusted ever .

Now a friends octavia has them too and there headlights flick up and down on start up just to get leveled but mine don't ?

Never the less it's peeing me off not being able to take full advantage of the decent headlights !

And yes iv searched to get no defined answer

I think your best bet is to take it to your local MOT garage. They'll be able to put the lenses infront of the headlights to ensure they're aligned properly. (Basically the lenses concentrate the beam onto a chart to show more of a defined cut off of the light, which in turn shows whether the lights need raising or lowering)

It'll only take them a couple of minutes to do, and if they're as nice as my local garage it won't cost you anything either

If they are factory Xenons you need diagnostic equipment to set them correctly. The control unit needs to be set into a learn mode and then adjusted as per a halogen headlamp.
