Tow Bar fitting in the North East ?

Featured Replies

Hi,

Does anyone in the North East (Newcastle / Durham area) have any recommendations at to where I can get a tow bar fitted to the Yeti - since I understand that most (all?) Skoda dealers sub contract the fitting of tow bars to a third party anyway ?

Also, do you know how to tell if the car has had the tow bar prep work done/fitted ?

Thanks

Geoff

Can't help on the recommendation, but as to the above, really the only external clue is wheter there is the hatch in the lower rear bumper moulding.

In which case I don't have it - Yeti was pre registered and came with a spare wheel (which was a relief), guess I was hoping for too much for it to have the tow bar prep as well.

Benfield Skoda who contracted out to fit mine use these:

Very good.

Thanks 'Yorkshire' - they are only 10 mins from where we live, so will give them a try,

Cheers
