Xenon headlight trouble

Featured Replies

Good evening all in after a bit of advice...

My 2006 (blt) has factory fit xenon headlights, yesterday on the way home i went to put in my full main beam on and the beam lights flashed on for a spit second then both died, my dip beam still works on both sides. The blue dash light indicating main beam still comes on when selecting main beam and there isnt a bulb warning light on the dash. Has this happened to anyone before?

Im hopping its either a fuse, i suspect its unlikely as there are two fuses one for each headlamp. Or one bulb has failed spiking the other one causing them both to blow. However surley this would bring in the bulb warning light?

Any help would be much appreciated!

I think the light warning only comes on for your main beams. As it didn't tell me both my side lights were gone! Id say the bulbs have blown you'll be able to see them through the lenses. Is usually quite clear when the bulbs blow

Have you checked fuses 23 and 30?

Fabias do not have bulb warning indicators

Sounds like a fuse blown

My 04 vrs has bulb warning indicators but not for mainbeam. It defo does for sidelights, headlights and brakelights. Iv seen em all!
