Head lights go dim

Featured Replies

This May of been asked before but my head lights dim a little when I turn ,more so when the car is stationary.is this the battery or could it be low power steering fluid ?. Or something else ?

Thanks

Sounds like the alternator more than anything else. Not noticed it myself as I have factory xenons, but have noticed things like this on some of my older cars.

it's the power steering pump drawing power, happens more noticeably at lower speeds and lower revs. Perfectly normal (for a Fabia) and nothing to worry about.

Only noticed it in the last few days ,I've only had the car about 4 years lol.the wife drives it more than me and she thinks if she turns the music up the car will fix itself

i think my alternator is on its way out, its spitting metal fragments from the shaft, 06 plate with 140k on the clock so time for a change. hope TPS got one available as i need the car for next three days.
