Hi everyone, my car (Fabia 1.4 mpi 8v comfort) is starting to misfire alot, it got worst today. It's had a new crank sensor fitted and 4 months ago New Bosch spark plugs, now when I start the car up it idles rough then idles drop then pick back up, also alot of power loss when driving. Been told by a garage it could be coil pack or map sensor they said it will cost me around £200

Can someone lead me in the right direction on how to fix this,

Might be a coil pack. I do have a spare and you are not a million miles away.

I paid ~50 for a new coil pack, Allen key for two bolts and it's off. 3 minute job. Turns out there was nothing wrong with my old one. Map sensor is ~20 off ebay and also a two minute job. I've read that you can repair the pack with epoxy.
