Mk4 golf clock fit octavia?

Featured Replies

Hi, will the gold mk4 dial for the octavia 1.8t? As I want to upgrade the look of the light, I fancy the blue glow,

Thanks

Dunno if they would fit, but you would have to get the immobiliser recoded plus mileage would be wrong, etc.  Might be easier to replace the green LEDs with blue ones?

Has any ever done a led change? I guess they will need to be all soldered

Can't be difficult, other than ripping the thing apart. I managed to chage the SMD led's on the clocks of my Suzuki SV. Partially for colour/cosmetic reasons, and partially because the replacements in red and blue are a whole helluvalot brighter than the originals, which were very dim indeed.

I changed the LEDs ands smds on Gee's Vrs. Lots of soldering but is possible.

I changed my brothers LEDs to purple and red

Guessing that took a fair few hours of work
