Just collected my car from the paint shop where the spoiler has been done - awesome job - prepare, 3 coats plastic primer , paint and lacquer, great price  - the shop is in Manchester/Salford - anyone want the details please PM me - after my initial complaint was raised with  Skoda they quoted me £270 ( which was after a 30% good will gesture)

So you paid £270 in the end??

 

That's still a lot, this is why complaining to Skoda won't really acheive anything, even if they offer a 50% discount, that price will still be more then what an independent body shop would charge for the work.

 

I've been quoted £60 so i guess i'll get it done after the winter.

No - Skoda quoted £270 and I told them they were having a laugh !! I paid about the same as you have been quoted

Thats a rediculous amount of money to have just a spoiler repainted!
