Radio misbehaving?

Featured Replies

Sometimes (not every) lights off, and the background light up is dull. Put the lights on and it brightens up and stays that way even after turning the lights off again.

Sometimes engaging reverse, the sound drops, sometimes it stays at the same level.

Sometimes you press a touch screen pre-set station , and it just stays on the station you were already on.

Seemingly won't accept pre set stations on MW either, and yes, I have had a butchers at the manual

All randomy annoying stuff.....and out of warranty now too.

The standard one in the Fabia may be a bit antiquated for some tastes, but it 's never given me any problems in 7 years, and is a doddle to use without the crazy and dangerous need to take your eyes off the road either.

Tin hat on.  :D

Mine does odd things, usually locking up all the controls if the car has been sitting in the cold for any length of time.

I suspect the radio is sensitive to a slight drop in voltage from the battery. It usually comes good after a few miles driving.

Probably a new battery in order but everything else seems fine.
