Doubt it mk2 has a totally different floor pan and I haven't heard of anyone doing the swap which is unusual if it's possible

Simply put - too much of a pain in the backside

The mk2 seats have deep bases, and would need to be mounted onto the floor (to have enough headroom), after cutting out the existing runner channel for wheel system used in the earlier cars

To the best of my knowledge the only non-mk4 seats used have been bucket seats, for which you can get several mounting methods

Folks have toyed with using TT seats, which have lower profile bases so could be mounted on a mk4 runner frame, but again custom fabrication required

Won't dare go to a golf forum to find out, always seem to upset the lil kiddies when I ask them to translate into English lol

Bet it will have been someone fitting genuine RS3 seats into a 1.4 engined R32 look-a-like
