hi guy driving along tonight and my engine management light came on. the glow plug light also started flashing.

I done a scan when I got in and it was code16705 crank sensor.

car seems to run ok.

so where does this sensor live so I can swap it out

If you take off the timing cover (two little clips) you can see the sensor hiding under the timing belt.

You can see it in the bottom left of this picture. Says "beru" on it. Think its 1x10mm bolt and theres a bung/ knock out that can be removed to take it out without taking the belt off. The plug for it is near the oil filter housing.
