Strange problem with Bluetooth kit and Skoda Bolero

Featured Replies

I just recived and installed the 7P6035730K bluetooth kit I purchased for my Skoda Yeti 2010. It was installed by a professional.

While the kit works, and address book is presented correctly on the dotmax, on the bolero radio the address book is not presented correctly, and therefore the following functions are not working:

-          Dial from adderss book

-          Search for a contact

The phenomenoum happens on both iPhone 4 and Samsung Galaxy 3. Tried to import phonebook again – didn’t help.

On the Bolero radio contact phone numbers are not presented correctly, and dialing fails constantly.

Please look at the attached photos to understand the problem:

1. on maxi dot - all is great.

2. on bolero, address book is fine

Hi,

Did you ever solve this problem as I have the same issue with an Octavia, I have tried everything and cannot get it to work.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Dan

Firmware update for the Bolero and/or Maxidot from the dealer may fix it, but it looks like an incompatibility between a newer BT module and an older Bolero.

I helped someone resolve similar issues with a 2009 LE Octavia. He swapped his BT module for an older one and (almost) all was good.

UP!

Same problem here with a 2009 Bolero and a 2012 car:
