Brake Fluid

Featured Replies

I have just got hold of a 312mm set up and braided lines. Whilst it is being fitted i'd like the fluid to be completely drained and have it refilled with ATE super blue and bled.

Does anyone know how much I need to get?

Would 1L be enough or is it worth getting two bottles?

Cheers :)

1l should be enough.

Btw you simply bleed the new fluid through. You dont drain the system then refill

Ah just seen the braided lines part. Yeh 1L will do still

I've just used the same on mine, 1 litre was plenty.

If they want the cash they'll do it :) at least it'll be easier to bleed.

Yeah, my friend runs it in his and it held up admirably when we went to the ring. Good value too!

Why's it not road legal? See it advertised for sale as part of some big brake kits.

Something to do with the colouring if it leaks probably.

+1 blue is awesome to use but because of the colourings in it its not road legal ......
