Came across online today that 'AmD Essex' who are a well respected VAG tuner, are now offering a TSI Remap for the 105 Fabia,

They are quoting the below figures for £399 fitted.

Original bhp : 103

Original lb.ft : 129

BHP increase : +25bhp

Lb.ft gain : +30 lb.ft

I am keen to find out if anyone has this Remap & if people think this is a safe modification for my 2013 Monte Carlo?

I am really looking for further tested gains, that are again safe for the lifespan of my Fabia.

This post will naturally bring up the question of warranty and insurance etc, something you need to consider one as a direct, one as an indirect cost you need to be prepared to pay.

 

If your car only has a few miles on the clock then it might be an idea to run it in some more before remapping, so as to let the engine loosen up a bit.

 

The gains if correct sound healthy and should make a noticeable difference in driving.  Price seems respectable, at least compared to other ECU out remaps.

 

I don't think there are many Monte's out of warranty yet so I wouldn't expect too many test pilots coming forth.

 

Ask AMD if they will give you a before and after Dyno in with the price so you can confirm the increase on your car.

Good effort. My one click map on the fabia was £300 all in. Sold the module on for £100 when I went hybrid with TRD
