Has anyone got the Skoda roof bars for the estate and are they any good?

 

Are there any good alternatives out there?

 

I need them for occasional use but have also ordered the black pack, so I don't want to mark the roof rails!

I haven't used them yet, but they seem quite sturdy. The primary reason that I bought them, is the nifty feature to store them "inside" the double boot floor. If you don't have the double floor, I would buy regular bars designed for rails. Also the Skoda bars have an oval shape that may cause problems with other accessories such as bicycle racks etc.

They're rebranded Thule based on what I saw at the dealer...

The bars have rubber protection underneath so no need to worry about marking the rails.
