hi everybody need some help seen a fabia with alpha 147 leather seats in sent guy message to see how easy they were to fit and had no reply please can someone tell me if one they fit and two if they dont how on earth you would get them to cheers

They won't be a straight fit. Will be a case of welding the fabia runners to the alfa seats, that's how I usually fit buckets etc

If the alfa seat is a similar width to the fabia one then it's a case of removing the alfa runners so you can weld the fabia ones on. That's the easiest way to do it and I've never had any problems. You might get someone come along and say it's not safe etc etc. I put some vectra Sri half leathers into a corsa c van like that and it was fine. If the alfa seats are alot bigger then it might foul the centre console etc

Skodalad has since bought + fitted sum different Alfa seats + GFWC has now bought the same alfa seats as me but in black with red stitching...

Seems like iv started abit of a trend... :D

I made my own brackets for the front seats + used the fabia rear frames with the alfa leather + modified the foam to fit.. thats as much detail as i can give out without going into the bodging details lol

That's does look good!! Can't see the fronts being hard to do its the rears, I can't be arsed messing about with foam etc

so basically take runner of my seats weld them on to alpha seats and thats ones am looking at 147 leather seast with red stitchin and jesus messing about with foam :/ i ahve no idea what am doing and would save me lot of money getting these and even though u already have them would look different !

The Alfa runners are wider than the fabia ones so i bolted the fabia runners (dont have a welder) onto metal brackets then bolted brackets onto alfa seats

see when you say modify the foam how long roughly did that take you sorry asking so many questions just want to make sure get it right and give lad that will get to do them as much info as i can and whats situation with airbags and stuff ?

Wasnt any airbags in mine. One of the reasons i didnt reply originally is im not really happy with how the rears are so wouldnt want you to copy it when its not the best lol

cheers buddy great help will see what else can find out what might do is have mate who bought some audi a1 seats fronts bolt staright on but makes u have to buy braket for a1 seats take fabia out weld in audi one which is from tms and jobs a good en ! wonder if can do something simliar with these seats uhhmmm
