Hi!

I've got a 6 speed box, I've recently reset my gear linkages which made a massive difference from changing gear, it just slides in now which is excellent.

But when it's in gear the stick can wobble around a bit like it's in neutral and it's not very confidence inspiring. Love a nice solid feel when changing gear!

Is there any way to improve this? The throw is also realllllly easy to move about which is weird coming from a ford gearbox where it was pretty stiff. How can I stiffen it?

I'm not wanting to make it harder and notchier getting into gear just the throw more precise if that makes sense?

What are they and what do they do? Gear linkage bushes or something? (on a broken phone so can't delve deep)

They are solid metal bushes for the gear selector. Should improve the gear changes. I have a set ready to be fitted to my car.

You could also upgrade the dog mount bush

Thanks for that. What do people usually tend to go for when upgrading the dog mount bush?

Any brands to avoid / too harsh a ride etc?

That's the one. Had one in my old Fabia vRS. Slight increase in vibration on idle but made gear changes much more solid.
