VAGCOM prefix in front of 4 digit access?

Does Vag Com (3.11) need a prefix Apparently I need a FIVE digit access code but obviously having only 4 I dunno what to do.

I tried a prefix of 0 and it locked me out.

Come on, is it another number to prefix? Or maybe a digit goes after the code?

Any VAG com users.... HELP!

Yes, its for the login screen to allow the immobilser to code the current key.

Oh, and if you know how to use vag com to do this manouvere please?

Is this the procedure you are following??

[Login - 11]

Enter zero followed by the 4-digit SKC.

For example, if your SKC is 1234, enter 01234.

That last one is it Stu - but the version I have doesn't go beyond channel 10 without asking me for an activation code Can you do some testing with yours to see if YOU can access channel 21 like on the second link in your post?

Hi there, my rear box has finally given up the ghost so I'm looking for a half decent replacement. I don't want to fork out for a genuine OEM one as the seem quite pricey. In the past I've bought exhaust parts from a manufacturer beginning with a K and found them to be really poor. A mate of my son works in their technical department and he says he wouldn't use them. So if anyone has any suggestions of makes and suppliers they've found to be good quality I'd love to know. Thanks in advance.

Have a listen to the audio & share your thoughts. I've replaced both wishbones & anti role bars a couple of months ago. This rattle started about a week ago & is progressively getting worse. The right hand tyres is wearing on the edges, both inside & outside. Turning the teering wheel on a flat road doesn't create the sound. Only when driving over drains or potholes. I've had on ramps and had the wheel off. I can't see anything obvious Skoda front suspension rattle.mp3

Hello No power at plug. Is there some connector under the car? I didnt found broken fuses also. Tried separated ground also but 12v is missing. All other front lights are working normally. 2010

Popped into my local Skoda dealer service dept, to see if their laser alignment equipment had been repaired. Saw there were some nice Skoda pins on the desk, asked if could have one and was offered the drinks bottle as well. Haven’t tried it in the cup holder yet though.
