Skoda breakers? parts..

Featured Replies

My partner owns a subaru car breakers yard, which was great when had a scooby. Now with a skoda just looking for tiny little bits cheaply. The only other ones close to work are scooby, porche, polos & golfs, and ford. Wondering if there's such a skoda breaking or just a scrap yard job and hope for the best. Just bonnet catch, seal, wind screen rear wiper plastic cover just little poxy things..?

There's skospares down south

Though some little bits can actually be quite cheap from Skoda/TPS.

I can always guarantee your reply :) haha. Know your stuff. I'll look into that.

I like wandering around scrap yards and other peoples cars, like that..like that...haven't got that need it. Making myself a list ;)

Albert loom has a list online of what they have, apart from that there is rather a lack of VAG breakers. There is an Audi breaker in Nottingham but you can't wander round.

I've tried contacting a few places breaking Skodas on eBay. Usually pretty good at giving an initial price, absolutely dreadful at getting back to you with payment details etc. Its a wonder why the bother with the eBay ads...

you can't actually walk around skospares yard though AFAIK. And the guy definitely won't let you remove parts yourself; that way he can guarantee the parts will not be ripped apart any old how which seems fair enough.

I find all my spare parts on ebay. Pretty easy especially if you have the part number.

I've dealt with Skosopares many times and have had perfect service every time.
